Unkontrolliert bedeutet, dass es unabh\u00e4ngig vom Willen des Kindes erfolgt. Jungen sind am h\u00e4ufigsten betroffen. Es gibt zwei Arten von Bettn\u00e4ssen, je nachdem, ob das Problem nur im Schlaf auftritt oder tags\u00fcber von zus\u00e4tzlichen Symptomen begleitet wird, wie z. B. h\u00e4ufigeres Wasserlassen, Harndrang oder Auslaufen w\u00e4hrend des Tages. Ein Kind sollte bis zum Ende des f\u00fcnften Lebensjahres urinieren k\u00f6nnen. Ist dies nicht der Fall, ist es krank. Entgegen dem Anschein ist dies ein gro\u00dfes Problem \u2013 5 bis 7 Prozent der 7-j\u00e4hrigen Kinder machen nachts ins Bett.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steuerungssystem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Man geht davon aus, dass Bettn\u00e4ssen eine multifaktorielle Ursache hat. Eine der Ursachen ist ein unterentwickeltes Kontrollsystem. Tags\u00fcber produzieren wir etwa 80 % des 24-Stunden-Urins, nachts jedoch nur 20 %. Ein Mangel an Vasopressin (einem Hormon) f\u00fchrt dazu, dass sich die Blase nachts genauso schnell f\u00fcllt wie tags\u00fcber, und wir k\u00f6nnen nachts nicht ruhig durchschlafen. Mit zunehmendem Alter steigt die Vasopressinproduktion an, und das Problem des Bettn\u00e4ssens verschwindet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psychologische Grundlage?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entgegen der landl\u00e4ufigen Meinung handelt es sich nicht um eine psychische Erkrankung, obwohl bestimmte Stresssituationen (z. B. Schulwechsel, Umzug, Geburt eines Kindes, Tod eines geliebten Menschen) die Symptome verst\u00e4rken k\u00f6nnen. Langfristiges und unbehandeltes Bettn\u00e4ssen f\u00fchrt beim Kind zu geringem Selbstwertgef\u00fchl, emotionalen St\u00f6rungen, schlechten schulischen Leistungen und sogar zur Isolation von der Peergroup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medizinische Hilfe erforderlich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In den meisten F\u00e4llen sind die Ursachen jedoch medizinischer Natur, und um sie zu erkennen, ist ein Arztbesuch erforderlich. Ein Kind kann von Bettn\u00e4ssen geheilt werden. Es ist jedoch immer notwendig, zun\u00e4chst das Vorhandensein von Krankheiten auszuschlie\u00dfen, die die St\u00f6rung der Urinproduktion und Funktionsst\u00f6rungen des Harnsystems beeintr\u00e4chtigen k\u00f6nnen.
