\u201cStay at home, observe yourself for 2-3 days, and then treat yourself symptomatically,\u201d advises Dr. Ewa Jarowicz. When the first symptoms of infection appear, it is best to stay at home so as not to spread the disease and to allow the body to regenerate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OBSERVE THE SYMPTOMS!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For mild symptoms, such as a runny nose or headache, it is worth using over-the-counter medications. If symptoms worsen, you should contact your doctor. "Let's take care not only of our own health, but of the health of all those we encounter," the specialist reminds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DON'T SPREAD THE INFECTION!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wearing masks and washing hands can significantly reduce the risk of spreading infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is especially important for older people to monitor their health closely. Dr. Jarowicz advises using a pulse oximeter if necessary and regularly measuring body temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proper hydration and rest are key in the treatment of infectious diseases. "We don't drink enough fluids, and not just the elderly," reminds Dr. Jarowicz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GET VACCINED AGAINST FLU! <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe flu vaccination, which we should absolutely get every year,\u201d recommends Dr. Ewa Jarowicz. Vaccinations are an important part of prevention and can prevent serious complications.
