Se estima que en Polonia hay m\u00e1s de 2,5 millones de personas que la padecen. Esta enfermedad provoca cambios en la estructura \u00f3sea, lo que aumenta su susceptibilidad a las fracturas. Las mujeres posmenop\u00e1usicas son las m\u00e1s propensas a la osteoporosis.
