More clinics are bearing the "Your Doctor" sign. More and more places are emerging where health is truly a neighborhood issue.

OLEŚNICA – HEALTH STATION This is the name of a new project underway by the NZOZ Your Doctor network. The restored railway station in Oleśnica officially opened today. A primary healthcare clinic, along with specialist offices, will open on the first floor of the historic building this fall. The "Oleśnica – Health Station" project is the result of collaboration with the Polish State Railways (PKP) and the city authorities. It involves not only the creation of a medical facility but also the comprehensive revitalization of the historic station building, giving it new functions important to the residents of Oleśnica. In addition to transportation services, the facility will also feature spaces conducive to daily meetings for residents and initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Medicine closer to the everyday lives of residents

NZOZ Twój Lekarz (Your Doctor's Public Healthcare Center) is consistently expanding its operations, meeting the needs of residents of Wrocław and surrounding areas. The coming months will see further important investments, providing patients with access to modern and comfortable medical care. In early September, the clinic in Wrocław's Sołtysowice district, which is being built next to the newly constructed nursery and preschool complex at 67 Lekcyjna Street, will welcome its first patients. The facility will provide Primary Healthcare services under the National Health Fund (NFZ), along with Coordinated Care. It will also include a Healthy Child Clinic and a Vaccination Center.

The small medical center being built in Ostrów Tumski will have a completely different character. The facility at 16 Katedralna Street is the result of a collaboration between the NZOZ Your Doctor network and the Archdiocese of Wrocław. This summer, it will provide medical care to residents of the Retired Priests' Home located in Ostrów Tumski. The network also plans to open a large medical center in the dynamically developing Lipa Piotrowska housing estate in Wrocław. The opening of this facility is scheduled for 2027.

Caring, Comfortable, Neighborly

New investments demonstrate the significant changes in the role of modern primary healthcare. A well-organized clinic is not only a place for medical appointments but, above all, provides daily support for patients and their families. Proximity to a clinic is crucial, especially for children, seniors, the chronically ill, and anyone seeking easier access to a family doctor, pediatrician, or diagnostic testing.

The development of NZOZ Twój Lekarz also allows for the creation of a care model that goes beyond the capabilities of a single facility. Patients in the network can benefit from the experience of a larger team of specialists, modern workflow, and solutions that enhance the comfort of treatment and contact with the clinic. This is the next step in a consistently implemented mission, which envisions the development of medicine based on trust, accessibility, and daily patient support. Soon, residents of more neighborhoods and towns will be able to experience healthcare delivered with care, comfort, and neighborliness.

The conversation touches on a key aspect of family medicine: the physician's role in health education and collaborative planning of next steps. The program doesn't end with diagnosis. Its goal is to create an individualized health plan and provide real support to the patient in changing their lifestyle.

Multiple visits, one e-documentation. Health under control.

A visit to a new doctor often begins with a complete health history: where diagnostic tests were performed, what the results were, and what medications were prescribed. Some documents are kept at home, others at the previous facility.

The discussion focuses on the practical aspects of participating in the program – from the first step, choosing a primary care facility, through completing the questionnaire, to interpreting test results and the role of the family doctor. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of cardiovascular disease prevention and the role of lifestyle in reducing health risks.
