The scope of preventive examinations is based on the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of 30 May 1996 on conducting medical examinations of employees, the scope of preventive health care for employees and medical certificates issued for the purposes specified in the Labour Code.
The scope and frequency of preventive examinations are specified in the methodological guidelines for conducting preventive examinations of employees constituting Annex 1 to the Regulation, although the doctor has the right to extend the examinations with additional tests if he or she has doubts as to the patient’s health condition.
