At the end of June, our envoys arrived in Kobierzyce, where they told the preschoolers about the daily work of a doctor and that it is necessary to take care of health from the youngest age. Our doctor was assisted by a mascot, which the children simply adore. Prevention is key, starting from a young age. Doctors repeat this phrase like a mantra. After all, it's easier and more enjoyable to prevent illness than to treat it later. Children from a municipal preschool in Kobierzyce, near Wrocław, learned about the crucial importance of prevention in maintaining a healthy body and mind. On June 28th, the preschoolers were visited by Dr. Angelika Kogut from the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor) health center. The children learned how to properly maintain oral hygiene, the importance of frequent handwashing, drinking water, and eating healthily. Dr. Angelika Kogut also explained why exercise is one of a healthy person's best friends. The doctor arrived with a long-awaited guest – the Super Doctor. The children eagerly posed for photos with the mascot, whose visit is always a real treat for them. The Super Doctor didn't come empty-handed. As usual, he handed out balloons, stickers, and vitamin treats. Children learn best through play, hence the presence of our Super Doctor – explains Aleksandra Chlebik-Olender, a family doctor and co-founder of the network of neighborhood medical facilities NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor). – During meetings in kindergartens, children learn what a doctor's job is and that visits to offices are not scary.
