szczepienie przeciw covid-19

Since the beginning of December, over 600 people have taken anti-COVID-19 preparations as part of the campaign ZA#ACCAPSULATED CARPETSThe joint campaign by the Kobierzyce Commune Office and the Your Doctor network is enjoying unwavering interest from residents. As a result, the Kobierzyce Commune, with a vaccination rate exceeding 64%, ranks second in the province and 31st in the national vaccination ranking.

"More and more people are asking about available appointments," says Patrycja Chrystowicz, vaccination coordinator at Twój Lekarz. Saturday's vaccinations are scheduled for January 15 and 22.

All indications are that the number of residents of the Kobierzyce Commune vaccinated against COVID-19 will increase even further. This is evidenced by the significant interest in vaccinations for children aged 5 to 11. December 14th, on the first day of registration, appointments were booked for over a hundred young patients.

According to experts, vaccinating children and adolescents is particularly important during the current wave of the pandemic. Increasingly more severe cases are being reported in this age group. In previous months, a large percentage of young patients experienced SARS-CoV-2 infections almost asymptomatically. To minimize the risk of illness among students, a vaccination campaign began in schools in the Kobierzyce Commune in December. So far, it has been conducted in schools in Tyniec Mały, Pustków Wilczkowski, and Kobierzyce.
