A referral to a specialist clinic is valid from the time of issue until the cure of a given disease entity. Therefore, in the new calendar year there is no need to prescribe a referral.

Each NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor) facility has access to the Electronic Verification of Beneficiary Eligibility (eWUŚ). This allows staff to instantly check whether a person is insured and eligible for free medical care – without the need to present certificates or RMUA forms.
