The birth of a child and the first months of its life are a special time for every mother. We have. Closeness, building bonds and learning new behaviors together require peace and security. In such moments, a woman needs special support, advice and care. This applies to matters related to the care of the newborn, as well as its health and proper development.
Today, in addition to holiday wishes, we have prepared special layettes for the mothers of our youngest Patients, which will be useful when caring for the little ones.
Parents of the youngest patients of NZOZ Twój Lekarz receive kits during medical patronage before the first vaccination.
Janek Budzanowski has already received his set, and together with his mother Katarzyna, he came to see Dr. Anna Skiba at the Your Doctor Clinic at ul. Krzycka 89B.
It is in the care of the youngest Patients and their Parents that NZOZ Your Doctor was created EARLY CHILD CARE TEAM.
A midwife and a pediatrician are members TEAM, who are the first to take care of newborn babies. As part of the contact with National Health Fund as a facility PRIMARY HEALTH CARE the clinic provides:
- patronage of the midwife in the first days of the child's life,
- medical patronage before the first vaccination,
- first vaccination after completing 6 weeks of age and subsequent vaccinations in accordance with the mandatory vaccination schedule,
- a visit from a health visitor after the age of 3 months.
If a pediatrician or midwife sees indications for additional diagnostics, they help determine the order of necessary visits to specialist clinics. This applies not only to consultations reimbursed by the National Health Fund, but also to commercial services.
What do specialists do? EARLY CHILD CARE TEAM?
- an orthopedist from the preluxation clinic – checks whether the child’s hip joints are positioned correctly,
- otolaryngologist – assesses the tongue frenulum and, if necessary, cuts it,
- a speech therapist – checks whether the child has a correct sucking reflex and ensures the proper development of the speech apparatus,
- babywearing instructor – teaches how to combine close contact with the baby with the comfort of carrying him,
- Shantala Massage Instructor – teaches a technique that relaxes and calms the baby, helping to cope with colic.
In connection with the publication of Gazeta Wrocławska of 22 June 2026 regarding irregularities in one of the private clinics in Wrocław, the name of which is confusingly similar to the name of our network, we would like to reassure the patients of NZOZ Twój Lekarz and clearly emphasize: the events and actions described in the article concern a completely different medical entity.
The holidays are just a few days away. Remember, vacation should be a time for relaxation, not searching for a pharmacy or doctor, or nervously checking the internet for advice on what to do after a tick bite, sunburn, or sudden diarrhea. That's why it's worth preparing for your vacation trip. It's not just about tickets, accommodations, and packing your bags, but also about your health.
