"A LESSON FOR THE HEART" IN THE SCHOOLS OF THE WROCŁAW COUNTY

How to take care of your heart and circulatory system to enjoy health for many years? The answers to this question are provided by "A LESSON FOR THE HEART" – a series of special health-promoting classes that have started in schools in the Wrocław district. The campaign is part of "Health policy program for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and hypercholesterolemia for the residents of Wrocław County for 2023–2025" 

The program is aimed at primary school students from the Wrocław District, their parents and teachers. Its goal is to:

  • education in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and hypercholesterolemia;
  • promoting a healthy lifestyle and good eating habits among the youngest;
  • strengthening pro-health knowledge and attitudes;

Students take part in lectures, workshops and educational games adapted to their age. Games and talks on healthy lifestyles are planned for the youngest. All participants will receive educational materials and knowledge tests. In addition, educational content, including special podcasts, will be available online for anyone interested. The program is to cover 16,000 primary school students from the Wrocław District.
