YOUR DOCTOR IN THE PILOT PROGRAM OF FOOT EXAMINATION IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Detecting posture defects in children and adolescents is the main goal of the pilot foot examination program launched by the National Health Fund and the Ministry of Health. Free tests will last until 2025 and will be carried out in 16 centers in Poland, including NZOZ Your DoctorIn total, they are to cover 24,000 patients aged 5 to 16.

WHERE TO REGISTER FOR TESTS?

You can register for the tests in person at the Rehabilitation Workshop of the Your Doctor Clinic at 5 Witosa Street in Kobierzyce, or by phone at 71 311 12 36 from 10:00 to 18:00. Tests conducted as part of the program are free and do not require a referral. They include: assessment of the condition of the feet, podoscopic examination, stability test and computer examination on a special diagnostic platform measuring pressure forces in a standing position or while walking.

DANGEROUS POSTURE DEFECTS

Statistics show that posture defects affect 50 to 90% children. The consequences of untreated lower limb defects, including foot structure abnormalities, affect the functioning and mobility of knee joints. They can therefore affect the entire biokinematic chain of the child. Early diagnosis of posture defects ensures more effective therapy - emphasize specialists encouraging participation in the program.
