HEALTH - A MAN'S THING! FREE SCREENING ON THE WROCŁAW PROMENADS!

If detected early, they can be cured in over 90 percent of cases. Otherwise, they are a deadly threat. We are talking about testicular and prostate cancers, which are increasingly affecting Poles. In 30 years, the incidence of prostate cancer in Poland has increased almost fourfold. About 10,000 men are diagnosed with the disease each year.
Experts have a way to reverse these statistics: “Research, research, and more research” – says Dr. Waldemar Bonczar, urologist at the “Twój Lekarz” chain of clinics. “This includes visits to a urologist, PSA blood tests, and regular self-examination of the testicles to detect lumps, hardening, and painful areas.” – adds the urologist.
The campaign of free urological screening tests, in which PLUS PHARMA is a partner, is scheduled for October 8 and 22 at the Wrocław Promenady. You can register for the tests in person at the "Twój Lekarz" Clinic at ul. Zakładowa 11 E, or by phone at 71 311 12 36
At the NZOZ Twój Lekarz clinic in Kiełczów, we are strengthening our care for patients requiring cardiology consultations. Dr. Dawid Kumięga, a physician currently specializing in cardiology, is starting work there. He will be seeing patients registered with NZOZ Twój Lekarz as part of their Primary Care Coordinated Care program.
Dariusz Litera's conversation with Dr. Marcin Roszkowski, a family medicine specialist, offers practical tips on preparing a travel first aid kit, taking your child to summer camp, motion sickness, and traveler's diarrhea. The expert emphasizes both the safety of pharmacotherapy and the sensible use of medical care while on vacation.
