According to the latest data from NZOZ Twój Lekarz facilities, the number of cases of viral infections, including influenza, has increased by 800% over the past month. This is an alarming signal for us all to take additional steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones. In our clinics, we have introduced special solutions to support patients during this difficult period.

WHAT FACILITIES DO WE OFFER TO DECLARED PATIENTS?

  • Prevention for the immediate environment

If the patient is confirmed to have influenza, the doctor will prescribe an appropriate preparation containing Oseltamivir (e.g. Ebilfumin) for family members. In this way, we protect people exposed to direct contact with the sick person, reducing the risk of the virus spreading.

  • Simplified process of writing prescriptions for flu prevention

After a medical consultation, patients are directed to the registration desk, where a special procedure is followed to issue prescriptions and distribute them to patients and their families.

  • COMBO tests without referral

People with suspected flu can use rapid COMBO tests that detect the presence of the flu virus and other viral infections. Simply report to one of our treatment rooms - a referral from a primary care physician is not required.

WHY IS IT WORTH USING THESE SOLUTIONS?

Our priority is to protect the health and safety of patients. The facilities we have introduced allow us to quickly diagnose influenza, effectively prevent its spread and reduce the risk of contact with the virus. Influenza is a serious disease that can cause serious complications, including pneumonia or cardiovascular problems. Early preventive measures are crucial for the health of the entire family.

HOW CAN YOU FURTHER PROTECT YOURSELF?

– get vaccinated against influenza; the vaccine not only reduces the risk of getting sick, but also protects against severe disease and its complications.

– use a protective mask in places where you may be exposed to viruses,

– wash and disinfect your hands regularly, especially after contact with surfaces touched by many people.

– avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose and mouth, which reduces the transmission of viruses.

– strengthen your immunity with a healthy diet rich in vitamins, adequate sleep and daily physical activity.
