COVID-19 - SUMMARY OF THE MONTH OF BOOSTER VACCINATIONS IN KOBIERZYCE

More than 1,000 people from the 60+ group have received their second booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Kobierzyce. Since July 22, patients from 60 years of age who have completed the full basic vaccination and the first booster dose can register at vaccination points. Vaccination appointments can be made 120 days after the first booster dose.

All residents Kobierzyce commune, who are over 60 years old can register for vaccinations by phone, at 71 311 12 36, Monday to Friday, from 8.00 to 16.00 from 11:00 to 18:00. Vaccinations are carried out at Your Doctor Clinics: in Kobierzyce at ul. Witosa 5, in Tyniec Mały at ul. Zdrowa 2 and in Ślęza at ul. Przystankowa 2.

From Wednesday August 17th the second booster dose against COVID-19 can be taken by medical facility personnel. According to the ministerial regulation, the vaccination covers all employees performing professional activities in health care facilities and pharmacies. The campaign also covers medical students and employees of animal health facilities.

In the Kobierzyce commune, over 70% residents underwent the basic vaccination cycle. This is the best result among rural communes in Lower Silesia, giving Kobierzyce 28th place in the national ranking and second place after Wrocław in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
