Certified Lactation Consultant is a person who performs a medical profession - a doctor, midwife, nurse, who has expanded her knowledge in the field of physiology and problems in lactation. The certificate is awarded Lactation Science Center  – CNoL. The document confirms that the expert acts in accordance with the most up-to-date medical knowledge.

How can CDL help?

A lactation consultant can support you if:

  • you don't know if you are breastfeeding your baby correctly,
  • you feel discomfort, pain in your nipple or breasts or you see any changes on them,
  • you are afraid that you do not have enough food,
  • the baby has trouble latching on to the breast,
  • baby rejects the breast,
  • too little weight gain,
  • you want to stock up on milk and don't know how to do it safely,
  • you want to reduce the amount of food,
  • you want to start expanding your child's diet,
  • you want to stop breastfeeding,
  • you want to stop bottle-feeding and use other methods or switch to exclusively breastfeeding.
