Our specialists take careful care of patients at every stage of rehabilitation – they select individual exercises and treatments and verify the therapy on an ongoing basis. They use proven therapeutic methods using modern equipment (ultrasound, light, therapeutic currents, hot and low temperatures, etc.). They help in returning to health and better condition by conducting classes at the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" facility in Kobierzyce (ul. Witosa 5), but also by teaching patients exercises that they can do at home.

Rehabilitacja, ćwiczenia

NZOZ "Your Doctor" provides a wide range of rehabilitation treatments.

Classic partial massage

Selected individually according to your needs, it allows you to remove tension from a given part of the body and relax the muscles, it has a therapeutic and relaxing effect.

Massage of the entire spine

An excellent treatment for spinal ailments resulting from stress, overload, a sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise or untreated injuries. It relaxes the paravertebral muscles and relieves pain, supports the maintenance of the spine in the correct position, and is also an excellent form of relaxation.

Manual therapy

A physiotherapist uses various techniques (massage, muscle relaxation, stretching, manual joint mobilization) to restore proper joint mechanics and counteract disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Magnetotherapy

An effective method of treatment with a low-frequency pulsed magnetic field. Recommended, among others, for inflammation, it allows for deep tissue impact. Used in rehabilitation, but also in the treatment of internal diseases and rheumatology. The magnetic field has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, improves blood circulation, accelerates the healing of wounds and fractures.

Laser therapy

Laser therapy uses precise tissue irradiation using a low-energy biostimulating laser. The energy delivered to the body in the form of light (infrared and red) supports the body's regeneration and accelerates the healing of wounds.

This type of therapy also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and is used for, among others, degenerative joint disease and nerve inflammation, and dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system.

Cryotherapy

Cold treatment through local cooling of the body using a special device. Deep tissue congestion facilitates exercise, local cryotherapy also has analgesic, anti-inflammatory effects, reduces swelling and muscle tension, increases the range of motion in the treated joints.

Light therapy: sollux lamp, Bio-v lamp

Therapeutic lamps are used to heat tissues, which provides local improvement in blood supply and stimulation of metabolic processes. They have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, stimulate the immune system, and are also used to prepare muscles for exercise or therapeutic massage.

The use of different colour filters in the sollux lamp expands the range of therapeutic possibilities.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound treatment, or high-frequency sound waves, involves subjecting tissues to a kind of micro-massage – this is the result of pressure fluctuations during the course of sound waves, resulting in accelerated circulation and increased temperature. This method allows for improving the functioning of the circulatory system and accelerating the healing of wounds, has a relaxing, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Phonophoresis

This is a method of introducing (through the skin into the tissue) a drug using ultrasound. This ensures faster and deeper penetration of substances with anti-inflammatory, analgesic or blood circulation improving effects.

Electrotherapy: Tens currents, diadynamic currents, galvanic current, iontophoresis, electrostimulation, interdy

Electrotherapy uses various types of therapeutic currents to treat diseases (including those of the musculoskeletal system or neurological disorders):

  1. Tens currents – medium and high frequency, used for neuralgia, muscle pain, spine and joint pain. By stimulating the nerves, they eliminate pain.
  2. diadynamic currents – low-frequency modulated currents with a strong analgesic effect, used e.g. in discopathy or degenerative disease of the spine.
  3. galvanic current – direct current, used for pain relief and anti-inflammatory purposes to treat neuralgia, degenerative diseases of the spine joints or peripheral circulatory disorders.
  4. iontophoresis – using direct current, drugs are introduced into the tissues (through the skin) to help treat inflammation of the skin, joints, and difficult bone fusion.
  5. electrostimulation – stimulation of muscle work using point electrodes or electrode belts.
  6. interdyn – Nemecek's interference currents, similar to diadynamic ones, but stronger and at the same time more pleasant for patients; in addition to the analgesic effect, they improve circulation and nourishment of tissues.

Exercises: in relief, active slow exercises
