THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE WILLING TO GET VACCINATIONS AGAINST COVID-19 IN KOBIERZYCE!

More than 300 people aged 60 and over have already received their second booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Kobierzyce. Starting July 22, vaccination sites will be open to patients aged 60 and over who have completed their primary vaccination and received their first booster dose. Vaccination appointments can be made 120 days after the first booster dose.

All residents of the Kobierzyce commune who are 60 years of age or older can register for vaccinations by phone at 71 311 12 36, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vaccinations are administered at Your Doctor clinics: in Kobierzyce at 5 Witosa Street, in Tyniec Mały at 2 Zdrowa Street, and in Ślęza at 2 Przystankowa Street. "We are systematically opening new appointments so that everyone interested can schedule their vaccinations," emphasizes Patrycja Chrystowicz, COVID-19 vaccination coordinator at Your Doctor.

The second booster dose is administered using vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. According to experts, receiving the second dose protects against severe illness, which is crucial given the rising tide of infections. Therefore, all individuals over 60 years of age who were vaccinated at Your Doctor clinics can expect a call inviting them for a booster vaccination. This applies to nearly 4,000 patients who received COVID-19 vaccines.

In the Kobierzyce commune, over 70% residents underwent the basic vaccination cycle. This is the best result among rural communes in Lower Silesia, giving Kobierzyce 28th place in the national ranking and second place after Wrocław in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
