YOUR DOCTOR AND FRIENDS – JOANNA LAMPARSKA

Some say that January 20, 2020 is the most depressing day of the year. The term Blue Monday was introduced by British psychologist Cliff Arnall. However, this is not a scientific term, but a successful attempt to draw attention to the low mood that many people experience in January.
Another heroine of the action YOUR DOCTOR AND FRIENDS certainly cannot be included in this group. Joanna Lamparska – a traveler, writer, and above all, researcher of mysteries, revealed to us her way of dealing with January blues.

“Solving puzzles from the past, secrets waiting to be discovered and traces of the former glory of now neglected buildings – this is a mix that provides me with a dose of positive emotions at any time of the year,” says the author of books about the treasures of Lower Silesia.

According to Joanna Lamparska, treasure hunting doesn't have to start with a big expedition. To start, it's worth taking a close look around your immediate surroundings. A clock passed down from generation to generation, a letter from years ago found in an old book from the family library, or a yellowed photograph in an album stored in the attic can be the key to extraordinary discoveries.

An invaluable source of information are witnesses to history, participants in events that may seem like the distant past to us. It is worth considering how well we know our family histories. What do the faces in the photos in old albums tell us? What events are immortalized in the photographs? If we do not know, it is worth asking GRANDMA and GRANDPA by sending them wishes on January 21 and 22!

MY HEALTH STEP BY STEP PROGRAM
