Time for flu vaccinations

Influenza is an acute infectious disease transmitted by droplets and air. It is caused by viruses. The autumn-winter season is traditionally the period of the highest incidence of illness. The best and safest way to protect against influenza is vaccination, recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), but also by the National Institute of Hygiene and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. The vaccine is produced every year and is adapted to the subtypes of the virus that are most likely to be active in a given year. Anyone can get vaccinated against influenza as a preventive measure, but it is particularly advisable in the case of:
  • children over 6 months of age,
  • people over 65 years of age,
  • pregnant women,
  • people suffering from chronic diseases (e.g. asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases),
  • people with reduced immune resistance,
  • people who stay in large groups (such as offices, schools or dormitories).
With the health of its patients in mind, NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" is already offering the latest flu vaccines. In NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" clinics, you can get vaccinated both individually and in groups - we also provide flu vaccination services for company employees. The cost of such a service includes a medical examination, the price of the vaccine and its administration. For more information, call (71) 311 12 36
