Summer is the perfect time to check in on your child's health. During the summer, the number of respiratory infections and other infectious diseases among children decreases significantly. The number of pediatrician visits also decreases. This increases the availability of appointments at NZOZ Twój Lekarz clinics. This is a great opportunity to book an appointment and attend an overdue checkup for your two-, four-, or six-year-old.

WHAT IS A CHILD HEALTH SURVEY AND WHEN SHOULD IT BE DONE?

A child's health checkup is a comprehensive preventive examination performed at specific times throughout a child's life. It allows for the assessment of their physical, mental, and social development and the early detection of any abnormalities. According to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund, such examinations are performed after the age of 2, 4, or 6. It's important to remember that this is a free service provided under Primary Health Care (PHC).

Autumn fog slowly settles on the windows, and thermometers relentlessly show ever-lower temperatures. Pharmacies increasingly often offer "something for a sore throat, something for a fever, something... anything." The infectious season is just beginning to make its presence felt.
