The Kobierzyce commune supports its residents in accessing therapeutic rehabilitation

It's starting soon „"Health policy program for the therapeutic rehabilitation of residents of the Kobierzyce Commune for 2026–2029". As part of a program financed from the Kobierzyce Commune budget with support from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Government, people struggling with spine, joint, or limb pain, the effects of injuries, and musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders can benefit from free assistance. By the end of 2026, 500 residents of the Kobierzyce Commune will have received treatment.

Pain and limited mobility can significantly impede daily life. Properly tailored rehabilitation can help reduce symptoms, improve mobility, and allow for a safer return to activity.

The program, which is currently underway, is intended for residents of the Kobierzyce Commune aged 50 and over. Following a successful call for proposals, the NZOZ Twój Lekarz Rehabilitation Center in Kobierzyce will provide services in 2026. Treatments will be available until December 15, 2026.

How to take advantage of the rehabilitation program in the Kobierzyce Commune step by step?

Step 1. Check if this program is for you

The program is open to individuals aged 50 and over residing in the Kobierzyce Commune. Assistance is available to patients with injuries, chronic or inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and nervous system disorders.

Step 2. Consider prior rehabilitation

The condition for participation is an appropriate break from rehabilitation financed by the National Health Fund, Social Insurance Institution, Agricultural Social Insurance Fund or State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) due to the same health problem.

In the case of chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system or the nervous system, at least six months should have passed since the completion of previous rehabilitation. After an injury, at least two months are required.

Step 3. Complete the qualification

Participation in the program begins with registration and qualification at the NZOZ Twój Lekarz Rehabilitation Center in Kobierzyce. This allows you to verify whether the patient meets the program requirements and can safely access the planned services. Applications will be accepted from August 3rd in person or by phone at 71 311 12 36 ext. 5.

Step 4. Take advantage of a physiotherapy visit

During the visit, the physiotherapist assesses the patient's needs and selects appropriate treatments. This ensures that rehabilitation is tailored to the individual's specific health problem, abilities, and fitness level.

Step 5. Participate in a series of treatments

The program includes rehabilitation treatments delivered in 10-day cycles. Services are provided at the Rehabilitation Center of the NZOZ Twój Lekarz (Your Doctor) at 5 Witosa Street in Kobierzyce.

What are the expected effects of the rehabilitation program?

The goal of the entire program is to reduce pain, improve physical fitness, and increase daily comfort. Education on the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders is also an important part of the program.

The patient therefore receives not only access to appropriately selected treatments, but also knowledge that can help them better maintain their fitness and reduce the risk of worsening health problems.

The program, developed for residents by the Kobierzyce Commune Council, combines rehabilitation, preventive care, and health education. Its goal is to help residents maintain maximum fitness, independence, and comfort in their daily lives.
