Thanks from Africa

The glasses worn by patients at the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor) have helped children in Nairobi. Over a thousand people have gained a new perspective on life.

Our ophthalmologist, Dr. Barbara Mista, together with optometrists from the Leczymy z Misją Association, examined 1,220 people from Korogocho, Kenya, in July this year. All of them also received new glasses. This was possible, among others, thanks to the patients of the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz", who responded to our appeal and got involved in collecting glasses.

- I am impressed because the glasses were brought to all our facilities. I am very happy that our patients and employees showed great heart and supported us in this collection. We collected full boxes of glasses for patients from Africa – says Aleksandra Chlebik-Olender, co-founder of the network of neighbourhood medical facilities NZOZ “Twój Lekarz”.

As a thank you to our patients, Dr. Barbara Mista and optometrists from the Leczymy z Misją Association sent them from Nairobi.

Statement of NZOZ Your Doctor

In connection with the publication of Gazeta Wrocławska of 22 June 2026 regarding irregularities in one of the private clinics in Wrocław, the name of which is confusingly similar to the name of our network, we would like to reassure the patients of NZOZ Twój Lekarz and clearly emphasize: the events and actions described in the article concern a completely different medical entity.

How to prepare for a holiday trip? A practical vacation guide.

The holidays are just a few days away. Remember, vacation should be a time for relaxation, not searching for a pharmacy or doctor, or nervously checking the internet for advice on what to do after a tick bite, sunburn, or sudden diarrhea. That's why it's worth preparing for your vacation trip. It's not just about tickets, accommodations, and packing your bags, but also about your health.
