Donate glasses. Help children in Africa

Glasses from NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" patients will help children from African slums. Until June 12, we are collecting glasses in all our facilities for the youngest Kenyans, including musicians from the amateur symphony orchestra from the slums of Nairobi.

NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" clinics are joining the campaign to help young Kenyans. Until June 12, we are collecting old, unnecessary but still usable glasses in the registrations of all our clinics. We need frames with all lens powers - plus, minus and cylindrical.

- The glasses will be given to children from the Korogocho slums in Nairobi and their families, because these people simply cannot afford such an expense. Among the children we plan to test will also be young musicians from the amateur symphony orchestra Ghetto Classics - explains Dr. Barbara Mista, an ophthalmologist from the NZOZ “Twój Lekarz” clinic, who is participating in the campaign for Korogocho. – We care about the glasses that lie forgotten in a drawer because someone no longer uses them or bought new ones. We appeal to you not to throw them away, but to bring them to us.

In July, Dr. Barbara Mista, together with optometrists from the Leczymy z Misją Association, which has been supporting Kenyan hospitals for years through training and sending medical equipment, will deliver all the glasses to the slums of Nairobi. On-site specialists will not only examine eyesight and select glasses for the defects diagnosed in children and their families, but also educate patients.

Statement of NZOZ Your Doctor

In connection with the publication of Gazeta Wrocławska of 22 June 2026 regarding irregularities in one of the private clinics in Wrocław, the name of which is confusingly similar to the name of our network, we would like to reassure the patients of NZOZ Twój Lekarz and clearly emphasize: the events and actions described in the article concern a completely different medical entity.
