According to experts, self-examination is the foundation of effective breast cancer prevention. Awareness of the risks and consistent care for one's health should be universal and apply to women of all ages. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor among women. In Poland, it accounts for over 201% of all female cancer cases. That's why informational campaigns, preventive measures, and screening tests are so important. Early detection of breast cancer allows for a complete cure!

The Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of NZOZ Your Doctor in Kobierzyce invites patients to free breast self-examination training. "From October 17th, we will be conducting self-examination classes for one hour every day for all interested patients" – says midwife Izabela Ksyta-Moćko. The campaign will last until the end of the month. There's no need to register for the courses – just contact the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic directly.

Meeting dates from October 17th to 28th:

Mondays 12:30 – 13:30

Tuesdays 12:30 – 13:30

Wednesdays 12:00 – 13:00

Thursdays 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Fridays 08:30 – 09:30

COMPLETE THE DECLARATION AND FULLY BENEFIT FROM NFZ CARE

To fully benefit from free services reimbursed by the National Health Fund (NFZ), it is worth remembering an important element: supplementing the declaration with the choice of a nurse, and in the case of women and girls, also a midwife.
