PREVENT POSTURE DEFECTS - SIGN UP YOUR CHILD FOR FOOT EXAMINATIONS

More than 500 young residents of the Kobierzyce Commune have already taken part in a pilot foot examination program launched by the National Health Fund and the Ministry of Health. Free examinations will last until 2025 in 16 centers in Poland, including the NZOZ Your Doctor Clinic in Kobierzyce. Registration for examinations takes place by phone at 71 311 12 36, Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 18:00.

PREVENTIVE RATHER THAN CURE

One of the main assumptions of the program is to prevent long-term health consequences through early detection of posture defects. According to experts, such early actions are crucial to ensuring the proper development of young people. It is alarming that statistics indicate the occurrence of various types of posture defects in more than half of children, which emphasizes the importance of such programs.

FOCUS ON POSTURE DEFECTS

The program pays special attention to lower limb defects and foot abnormalities, which can significantly affect the functioning of the knee joints and the mobility of the entire body. Early diagnosis and therapy can prevent further complications, which is extremely important for the future health of children. The program is intended for young people who have reached the age of 5 but have not reached the age of 16.

HOW DOES THE RESEARCH WORK?

The tests are carried out at the Rehabilitation Workshop of the Your Doctor Clinic in Kobierzyce and are available free of charge and without referral. The diagnostic process includes an assessment of the foot condition, a podoscopic examination, a stability test and a computer examination on a special diagnostic platform. This comprehensive approach allows for a precise assessment and possible correction of posture defects in young patients.

IMPORTANCE OF THE PROGRAM

The foot examination program not only diagnoses and treats, but also educates about healthy development. Proper development at a young age is not only a guarantee of health in adulthood, but also allows children to fully utilize their physical potential. Experts emphasize that early detection and treatment of posture defects can have a significant impact on the future health and well-being of children, which makes the program extremely valuable.

WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR FEET EXAMINED?

The foot screening program in the Kobierzyce Commune is an important initiative in the field of health prevention. Focusing on early detection and correction of posture defects, it is an investment in the healthy future of young people. Thanks to the available tests, parents have the chance to give their children a better start, without worrying about long-term health consequences.

The conversation touches on a key aspect of family medicine: the physician's role in health education and collaborative planning of next steps. The program doesn't end with diagnosis. Its goal is to create an individualized health plan and provide real support to the patient in changing their lifestyle.

Multiple visits, one e-documentation. Health under control.

A visit to a new doctor often begins with a complete health history: where diagnostic tests were performed, what the results were, and what medications were prescribed. Some documents are kept at home, others at the previous facility.
