EASIER ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE IN WROCŁAW'S JAGODNO

For years, most Poles have used Primary Health Care in their place of residence, highly appreciating easy access to primary care physicians. According to CBOS data, this percentage is 79 percent. The proximity of a well-functioning health care facility is one of the important factors that determine the attractiveness of a given housing estate and make everyday life easier for its residents.

Providing comprehensive medical care at the patients' place of residence, "nearby", is the most important element of the mission NZOZ Your Doctor. This goal was the driving force behind the opening of facilities at Zakładowa 11E/1 on the Promenady Wrocławskie and Gagarina 110 streets in the expanding part of Muchobór. The Jagodno estate is no different, where the Twój Lekarz clinic has been operating since February at Drabika 74, and a larger facility at Buforowa 69 will be opened in mid-September.

The decision to create a new center is a response to the interest of residents and the increased demand for medical services related to the very dynamic expansion of Jagodna. The Medical Center at Buforowa 69 will provide not only advice in the field of Primary Health Care, but will systematically open more specialist clinics. Initially, it will be possible to use the advice of a cardiologist, surgeon, orthopedist, ophthalmologist, diabetologist, gynecologist and endocrinologist.

The opening of the clinic at Buforowa Street will allow the transformation of the neighboring facility at 74 Drabika Street into Pediatric Center, where in addition to the Healthy Child Clinic, you will be able to use the advice of a speech therapist, psychologist and pediatric pulmonologist. This type of work organization is already in effect at the Twój Lekarz clinics at Skarbowców and Krzycka. It is also very highly rated by parents of young patients.

Coordinated primary care for children. What does this mean in practice?

Children's Day is the perfect time to reflect not only on the joy of the little ones, but also on their health and sense of security. Many parents experience situations where a child needs regular checkups, further tests, or specialist consultations, and the entire treatment organization falls on the family. It's important to remember the results, visits, recommendations, and next steps.
