Diabetes is the largest non-communicable pandemic in human history, according to experts. Around the world, about 400 million people. In Poland, it has been diagnosed in less than 3 million people. However, experts estimate that more than 1.5 million of Polish adults live with diabetes without being diagnosed. Meanwhile, long-term high blood sugar levels cause damage to many organs, including the heart and blood vessels, kidneys, nerves and eyes.
Preventing diabetes and its dangerous consequences is one of the priorities of our activities. NZOZ Your Doctor. At the beginning 2023 a new one has been created on the web DIABETES CLINIC. This is the result of a contract signed with National Health Fund. Adult patients requiring diabetes consultations and having referrals from their primary care physicians can register for visits reimbursed by the National Health Fund using HELPLINE 71 311 12 36
The new clinic is located in Your Doctor Clinic at ul. Gagarina 110 in Wrocław. Every Tuesday from 8:30 to 13:30 patients are admitted there Dr. Agnieszka Szczytkowska – specialist in internal medicine and diabetology.
In connection with the publication of Gazeta Wrocławska of 22 June 2026 regarding irregularities in one of the private clinics in Wrocław, the name of which is confusingly similar to the name of our network, we would like to reassure the patients of NZOZ Twój Lekarz and clearly emphasize: the events and actions described in the article concern a completely different medical entity.
