How to keep your legs light and what to do to avoid hereditary diseases – Dr. Małgorzata Kastelli gives advice in popular magazines.
It turns out that swollen legs are a problem that affects as many as 7 out of 10 of us during the summer. What is the cause of the condition and what can be done to deal with it? Dr. Małgorzata Kastelli, MD, provided the answer in "Dobre Rady" magazine. According to a specialist from the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor), it's crucial to follow a few basic rules. Above all, avoid high temperatures (hot baths and sunbathing worsen the condition) and avoid tight clothing. It's also worth remembering to rest with your legs elevated and have your veins checked regularly. Dr. Małgorzata Kastelli, MD, who sees patients at our Kobierzyce clinic, also appeared in the latest issue of "Samo Zdrowie" magazine, this time as a consultant. This extensive publication addresses genetic predispositions to illnesses in families. The similarities between mothers and daughters don't end with appearance – sometimes we also share the same history of illnesses. Fortunately, it turns out that genes don't determine everything. A preventative plan—regular checkups, a proper diet, and physical exercise—will help us mitigate, and in some cases even prevent, the diseases our mothers suffered from. We encourage you to read publications in the magazines "Dobre Rady" and "Samo Zdrowie." If you have any questions, please contact the NZOZ "Twój Lekarz" (Your Doctor) at 71 311 12 36.
This discussion addresses key issues related to recognizing infections, interpreting symptoms, and how to manage a child's illness. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of childcare and situations requiring medical consultation.
The May long weekend is a time for outdoor relaxation, but it's also a time when the topic of ticks returns with a vengeance. It's worth remembering that ticks aren't limited to forests. They're increasingly appearing in city parks, allotments, and even neighborhood lawns.
With the arrival of spring, the Your Doctor brand takes on a more distinctive form. The new symbol reflects what matters most to us: empathy, closeness, and safety.
